Regarding Payments
What forms of payment do you accept?
Through PayPal, we accept all major credit cards and of course PayPal Payments. Cash is not accepted and the crew does not carry change on board.
When do you collect payment?
Payment is processed at the moment the reservation is made.
Can I pay a deposit or partial payment?
We only accept payments in full at the moment the reservation is made. Partial payments or deposits are not accepted. However, we are working with payment processors to soon enable paying in parts or installments.
Do I tip the Captain and Guide in Cash, PayPal or Zelle?
Gratuities are most commonly made in cash, however most tour guides will also accept PayPal transfers, rarely do they accept Zelle or CashApp.
Once payment is made, can I get a refund?
Yes, all payments can be refunded in full (minus a 10% transaction fee) if you cancel with 24 hours notice or more. This is also the case when a ship does not dock due to weather issues.
Regarding Tours & Excursions
What is provided with our charter?
We provide you with all the snorkelling gear you need including life vests for children and adults. We provide a cooler with ice & bottled water, and a guide for snorkeling tours. Please note we do not provide snorkeling gear for sunset tours, however you can add them as optional add-ons.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
You are allowed to bring any food, snacks, drinks or alcoholic beverages you want on board. We’ll have a cooler with ice to keep your beverages nice and cold throughout the trip! We ask all of our guests to be responsible guests and leave the boat clean.
What is the capacity of the boat?
Each boat can hold between 10 – 12 adults and children depending on guests’ weight and size. If your party is above this size, we will arrange for more boats to come with.
What is included in the trip?
Trips include complimentary use of snorkel equipment, drinking water, life vests, a cooler with ice and a tour guide and experienced boat captain.
Not Included: Towels, food, drinks and gratuities.
Where is our pick-up location?
Our main pick up locations are:
- Sandy Bay Dock
- West End (Cressi Dock)
- West End Beach
- West Bay Beach
We will contact you before your tour to set the exact pick-up location within the shoreline.
Are Excursions Private?
Only Full and Half Day Excursions are fully private, however we aim to keep group sizes small and experiences personalized for our guests.
Are departure times flexible?
Our morning tours are scheduled for 9:00 am or 11:00 am departures. Sunset charters are planned to finish just after the sun goes down, allowing you to witness a gorgeous view of Roatan.
Is there a toilet on board?
Our boats do not have toilets on board, in case one is needed, we can dock at a restaurant or nearby location that can facilitate one for you.
Regarding Cancellations & Rescheduling
What if the weather is bad?
Should your cruise ship not dock, or your excursions was cancelled due to weather, we will issue a full refund.
In case the excursion was cut short due to poor weather, you will be refunded the difference and pay only for the time you spent on board.
Can a trip be rescheduled after booking?
Yes, we work with our guests to find a date and time that works for their schedule. Should you need to reschedule a trip please make sure you reach out to us with more than 24 hours notice to avoid Cancellation penalties.
What if I decide to cancel?
Cancellations are subject to the following Cancellation Fees:
- Cancellations more than 24 hours before departure: 90% refunded, less 10% admin fee of the total Booking price.
- Cancellations within 24 hours or less before departure: No refund is issued.
What if only part of the group cancels?
If a person within a large group can’t make it, the same rules apply:
- Cancellations more than 24 hours before departure: 90% refunded of individual cost, less 10% admin fee of their individual Booking price.
- Cancellations within 24 hours or less before departure: No refund is issued for the party’s individual entry cost.
